Ops note: Dave Ward, Mick Lynch at Thursday strike rally

OPS NOTE: BT GROUP AND ROYAL MAIL STRIKE RALLY WITH DAVE WARD, MICK LYNCH

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) are directing all press to a mass rally of postal workers, Openreach engineers and call centre staff at Brighton Delivery Office, North Road, BN1 1YD this Thursday (20^th October).

Attending the rally will be CWU General Secretary Dave Ward, RMT General Secretary Mick Lynch, CWU Deputy General Secretary Andy Kerr, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady, CWU President Karen Rose, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady, UCU General Secretary Jo Grady and RMT Senior Assistant General Secretary Eddie Dempsey.

The rally will begin at 7.30am, and figures will be available for interviews and comment.

Both BT Group and Royal Mail workers are striking on this day.
