Northern Ireland Young Workers Event
Open to all CWU Young Members in the Northern Ireland Region
The CWU NI Young Workers is taking over the Sunflower Bar ALL DAY on Tuesday 10th September. Local reps and guest speakers are making themselves available for you to air any questions/concerns or just to get to know them!
This event is geared towards Young Workers (members under 30) but all members are welcome. A lot of CWU Members work different shifts so we’re running 2 official sessions to hopefully accommodate every one. There will be reps upstairs of the Sunflower all day so if you can’t be at the sessions, feel free to just drop in for a chat.
DAY SESSION: 2PM-3PM
There will be a panel session kicking off at 2pm that will last around an hour. The reps will go through some facts and figures, then open it up to the floor to ask questions or voice concerns. There will be refreshments provided throughout the day too.
EVENING SESSION: 7PM-10PM
The second panel session will start at 7 and last around 30/45mins. Some of the concerns voiced in the day session will be covered, and the same information will be distributed too.
From 8pm onwards, MacIvors Cider & the Sunflower Comedy Club has kindly partnered with us to do a tasting of some of their delicious drinks while watching some world class comedy. This is a well established night out in Belfast with tickets usually costing £15.
