CWU Young Workers Education Weekend 2026

Friday 19^th June – Sunday 21^st June

Join us for our annual young worker education weekend taking place in Quorn Grange Hotel Friday 19^th – Sunday 21st June.

The weekend will include a chance to meet and talk to CWU leadership from across the Union on workplace issues, union campaigns and how we improve working standards for all young people.

There will also be workshops and debates with top class speakers on AI, Challenging the Far Right, why health and safety is a young persons issue and how young workers can organise for a better world.

All of this will be followed by our annual Mock Conference which is about developing skills to take part in a Union conference while enjoying a team game!

Not to forget that Saturday Night is Cuba night with Cuba Solidarity Committee Director Rob Miller speaking on current issues facing Cuba , followed by Cuban music, rum tasting and a chance to nab some solidarity merch.
